then you should study German and your major discipline at Georgia Tech for the first and/or the second year you are enrolled.
Plan to sign up for the program in the Spring Semester of your Sophomore year.

• Participate in the German LBAT program
• Remain in Munich and take (3-4 credits):
  • a. Four week intensive German and University Orientation Course in September, or
  • Prep course for TestDaF (similar to the TOEFL test, and more demanding than a. Mid-August-September)
  • Meet your academic advisor, site visits, orientation, finalize class schedule (integrated together with the courses)
• Winter Semester at TUM (12 credits) October 15-February 15
• Internship with Siemens March 1-August 1 (other companies also available)

• Other models include
  • Two semester program at the Technische Universität München
  • Courses available at the other top German university in Munich, the Ludwig Maximilian Universität
  • Semester plus research projects where they can be arranged
  • In some cases, if you have prior experience in Germany, you can design your program for internship experience only
