Georgia Tech 2012 Project GO scholarships start at $6,500 up to complete program costs, depending on how many students apply.
Students typically participate in Georgia Tech’s Language for Business and Technology (LBAT) study abroad program in which classroom lessons in business, culture, and technology are combined with field work, cultural events, excursions, and visits to area businesses-all conducted in the target language. The LBAT programs provide students with unique opportunities to develop a global perspective regarding their target language/culture(s): a perspective that they can apply to their other coursework as well as to their career goals for life after graduation.
However, students are also encouraged to consider a semester abroad at a host university in one of the designated countries to develop their language skills and to complete additional coursework.
Georgia Tech offers scholarships for the following critical languages (please follow the links for additional information on each program to include costs and prerequisites. Please note the $200 application fee will be refunded for students not selected for a Project GO scholarship):
