Mexico City, Mexico Component 
Please apply early; space is limited.
- Study for six weeks in the world's largest city, Mexico City, and experience the voices of ancient civilizations merging with the bustle of commerce.
- Earn 9 semester credit hours at the 3000 level, applicable towards a certificate, Spanish Minor or IAML or GEML major, or in partial fulfillment of the International Plan Study-abroad requirement
- Deepen your knowledge and understanding of contemporary Mexican culture and society and its historical roots as well as current issues facing Mexico in its U.S. partnership through NAFTA.
- Live with a Mexican family; visit area businesses in Mexico City; participate in a community service project.
- Experience a varied cultural program including excursions to the ancient ruins of Teotihuacan, the colonial city of Puebla, and an additional excursion to San Miguel de Allende or Guanajuato
Prerequisites: SPAN 2000 level and good academic standing (this program is conducted in Spanish)

Mexico program cost (without tuition):
- 9-credit program: $2795 plus $200 application fee.
Note: The $200 fee covers application to both Mexico and Madrid components.
Program fee covers:
- ground transportation for excursions and company visits
- housing with a Mexican family
- two meals/day (breakfast, supper)
- ISIC card (international ID for discount rates)
- transportation, lodging and some meals for overnight excursions
- airfare and lodging in Puebla and second city
- tours of city and cultural sites; professional visits
- health, evacuation and repatriation insurance… and MORE!
Program fee does not cover roundtrip airfare from Atlanta to Mexico & Mexico to Atlanta
